BUPA LocalCare

BUPA LocalCare offers your clients cover for eligible private medical treatment in the UK by BUPA-recognised consultants, therapists and practitioners. It provides cover for eligible outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests and hospital inpatient and daypatient treatment, as well as for therapies. Eligible treatment for cancer is also fully covered.

To help reduce subscriptions this scheme offers cover for treatment within the nationwide network of BUPA Partnership Network hospitals. This is a less extensive hospital network than we offer on some of our other schemes, but a BUPA partnership network hospital can be found in most areas.

What are the key benefits?

Full cover for eligible inpatient and daycase treatment in a BUPA partnership network hospital by a BUPA recognised consultant
Cover for outpatient diagnostics and consultations up to a total of £500 a year*
Cover for outpatient therapies up to a total of £500 a year*
Cover available for treatment by a complementary medicine practitioner*
Cover for eligible private hospital treatment following an accident or emergency admission
Cover for injuries arising from dangerous hobbies

up to £250 of the £500 outpatient therapies benefit may be claimed against complementary medicine practitioners' fees.
